The style and shading are rather pretty. I like how you drew your hair. :)

I've been trying to do realistic self-portraits lately, and it's a long hard journey. :D

What did you use to draw this, btw? It looks kinda charcoaly. Just curious.

I like doing realism, but not of myself:( I prefer someone with more defined features, and generally men.

I used HB pacer for the initial lines, and 7B for the shading, plus smudging:D Some pencil brands have different oiliness though. I use Faber Castel because it's not as waxy and doesn't shine so much.
